Thanks--so happy to be starting to feel better today! :)

I learned basically by practicing over and over and over for several years. There are courses out there (I've never taken them--can't afford to), but the most important thing for me has been practice. Every weekend that I can, I try to get my camera out and take at least 500 pictures. 490 of them turn out "bad" but the 10 that turn out nicely are treasures to me!

You can see some of my oldest attempts at photography if you go back to the beginning of the journal while signed out.

Oh, and I'd be lying if I didn't add that having a DSLR helps a lot. They say the photographer makes the picture and the camera doesn't matter. They are wrong. Having a DSLR makes taking great shots INFINITELY easier once you figure the camera out!
