my new playground

I joined www.fanStory.com because I wanted to improve my poetry and non-fiction writing. Wow - I'm overwhelmed by its awesomeness, lol. I'm also feeling fairly pleased about my work. They are VERY critical over there - and will, if they can find something, let you know what you should work on.

Thus far, I have three poems listed, and am ranked on the level of "professional". Whoah. Didn't expect that :-)

Here's one of my poems for any bored friends:

Good tip. I was just thinking about doing that. Saw one of yours in a "Workshop" and figured the comments might be less brutal.

Yeah. That one. Don't put it there unless you really AREN'T done with it. (If you want me to take a peek I'd love to!) The thing is, you get this mega-big certificate complimentary when you sign up. You want to use it to put your best work forward on the non-workshop one. I can't remember what it's called :-)

Oh, btw, they are a little more brutal in workshop because everyone's trying to help you out :-)

BTW, did you take the plunge???
