People with Aspergers:
1. Feel awkward in social situations
2. Tend to have obsessions :-) ... no comments ...
3. Have poor social skills - or feel that they do
4. Have difficulty understanding social stuff - how to respond; how things work
5. Live in their heads :-)
6. Are pretty intelligent
7. Struggle with social anxiety disorder
That's not quite the DSM-IV but someone suggested I look into it (from my faceblind list), and in looking into it, I find I fit pretty well! A lot of the people on the Aspie list remind me of myself and a few of you... The characteristics I listed are those that are common on the Aspie list that are common with us.
