1. Owned a ferret
2. Moved away from home at 16
3. Done experiments on rats, including brain surgery
4. Driven 3 hours/day to go to school on a regular basis
5. Owned a basilisk
6. Hand-raised baby squirrels and rabbits
7. Been on a glacier
8. Started college when I was 15
9. Volunteered in the inner-city for a year teaching impoverished and court-appointed teens
10. Written character curriculum for the foster care system of Oklahoma

Would love to hear about #9. I'm thinking that's a good path for my teaching degree.

#5 = James knew I really liked them and surprised me with a baby basilisk last October.
#9 = really good opportunity and experience. One of the best and most rewarding things I've ever done.
