I never would have taken you for "opinionated, strong, and domineering!!" LOL - it's amazing how much we can see through journals or online interaction.
My dad and I, I think, come across as soft on the outside, but very tough underneath. We are opinionated, but quietly so, I think. We tend to be very reserved and logical.
When I was growing up, my dad would talk me out of bad ideas - he'd always give me his advice and leave the decision with me. We worked well this way - I never had a curfew, problems with friends or anything like that...
On the other hand, I was domineering with my mom b/c I felt she wasn't enforcing things with my brothers, LOL. I think I made life very difficult for her.
